AS the owner of Nutrition Consults, I have over 25 years of experience in the nutrition field. Educational background and training is as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a Masters degree from Columbia University in Nutrition and Applied Physiology. I have a certificate in whole plant-based nutrition from Cornell University , certificate in plant-based cooking from Roubex Cooking School and presently an adjunct faculty member at Stockton University. located in Galloway, N.J.
Over the years, I have worked in a variety of settings which included a cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation center, eating disorder treatment centers, drug and alcohol rehab facility, health clubs and medical doctors offices. Presently, I am the nutritionist for Stockton University students, assisting students with creating a healthier nutrition lifestyle through food. The course I offer at Stockton is called “Real Food”. It a general studies course and part of the holistic health minor options.
Personally, I follow a whole-food plant based eating style 95% of the time. I love being outside and enjoy yoga, meditation, hiking, day trips, reading, blogging and traveling.
