If you are interested in finding a perfect protein powder, my favorite is Garden of Life Raw Protein, which is 100% plant-based organic vegan, gluten-free and dairy free. One scoop provides 17 grams of protein. My favorite flavor is vanilla, but it also comes in chocolate. I typically have a fruit smoothie for breakfast and add a 1/2 to whole scoop to my smoothie.
Favorite Morning Smoothie Recipe:
1/2 c. frozen organic strawberries, 1/2 c. frozen cubed mango, 1/2 c. organic light vanilla soy milk, 1/2 – 3/4 c. almond milk, 1/2 scoop to 1 scoop raw protein, 2 tbsp flax meal
Blend all ingredients in a blender such as a Nutribullet. Add extra almond milk as needed until desired consistency. Enjoy!
